Paul “MexOne” Vetne was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, into a family of artists. From an early age he was encouraged to express himself passionately through art and music. He was fascinated by the larger than life images and colors of the Mexican muralists Diego Rivera and David Siqueiros, as well as the dynamic art of comic books and cartoons. Upon moving to the United States, his family lived in multiple locations across the country exposing him to a broad spectrum of art and culture. He attained a BFA in Fine Art Painting with a secondary emphasis in Ceramic Sculpture from Andrews University, in Southwest Michigan.

Paul has been a professional tattoo artist for the past 15 years, and is founder/operator of "REO Town Tattoo Co." in REO Town, Lansing, Mi. He is co-founder/owner of local art/design company, JiveOne5even, that creates locally themed, wearable artwork, and raises awareness for the necessity of Elementary Art Education in the Public School System.
